ntegral shaft water pump bearings are versatile, cost-, space- and performance effective units. These units have two rows of balls within a common outer race. The central shaft has an inner raceway ground with a centre corresponding to those on the outer race. A cage is used at each rolling element path, to space and retain the steel balls. The bearings are pre-packed with grease, which is positively retained by metal encased rubber seals at each end, protecting the bearings from any foreign matter entering. Integral shaft water pump bearings are primarily used in automotive water pumps. Water pumps are major engine cooling system parts, used to feed cooling liquid under a certain pressure to each part of the engine that requires cooling.
